PRADHAN MANTRI AWAS YOJANA
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a flagship Scheme of Government of India Launched in 2015 with an objective of Housing for all. Under this mission every family will have a pucca house with water connection, toilet facilities, 24×7 electricity supply and access.
A Beneficiary family will comprise husband, wife and unmarried children. The beneficiary family should not own a pucca house (an all weather dwelling unit) in his/her name or in the name of any member of his/her family in any part of India.
EWS households are defined as households having an annual income up to Rs. 3,00,000 (Rs Three Lakhs)
An all weather single unit or a unit in a multi storied super structure having carpet area up to 30 square meters with adequate basic civic services and infrastructure services like toilet, water, electricity etc.
The house constructed will be in the name of the female head of the household or in the joint name of the male head of the household and his wife, and only in case when there is no adult female member in the family, the house can be in the name of male member of the household.
Govt of India assistance of Rs 1.50 Lakhs and State Govt Assistance of Rs 1 Lakh per EWS house only for Eligible Beneficiaries
Yes, Stamp Duty for registration of tenements of EWS and LIG under PMAY Scheme will be Rs.1000/- per tenement
The scheme will be registered in Maha RERA & the provisions of maha RERA will be applicable to the scheme.
MHADA has been appointed as Special Planning Authority for implementation of PMAY Scheme in Maharashtra State. The layout plans & Building plans of the scheme prepared as per the D.C. Regulations of Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation & considering all provisions and relevant codes will be got approved from MHADA.
Beneficiaries will make payment to the developer as per the payment scheme offered by the developer which will be based on completion milestones. Beneficiaries can make payment directly or avail housing loan facility subject to sanction by financial institution
If you are registered with PMAY directly or through any government nodal agency and your application is approved, you are eligible.
Yes. You can make application to buy the house with the developer. Developer will help forward your application to concerned authority. On their verification and approval, your eligibility will be confirmed
You can make application with developer to buy the house. Preference of allotment shall be given to eligible beneficiaries. In case eligible beneficiaries fall short, then as per MHADA guidelines the units will be allotted to non-eligible beneficiaries. Note that non-eligible beneficiaries will not be offered benefits under PMAY
